There’s been a lot going on this week in the area of innovation … where to begin? Wow. First up, we saw a new technology that has enabled the first “eyeborg,” a human with a digital eye. But the innovation didn’t end there, did it? No way! This week also saw the design put forward for a doomsday ark on the moon, the first 100% solar overnight flight, and another eye-piece (pun intended): the eye telescope. From there it’s off to the wacky side of things with beer-serving robots, man vehicles and Star Wars driving commands. Who would have ever thought you could literally take the force with you wherever you go? So let’s end the week with some links from around the net and see what else has been going on. Get ready to be informed, intrigued and bedazzled. Okay, maybe one out of three won’t be bad, right?
