If you’re like me, you probably have 3 missed calls a day. That’s because I always turn my ringer off. Honestly, it never seems appropriate to have your ringer on anymore. It’s like no matter where you are someone is telling you to put your phone on silent. Well this is where Nokia’s newest invention, the “Kinetic” comes in. Their newest phone literally jumps out at you when receiving a call. It is able to do this using an electromagnetic force in the base of the device that shifts up when someone calls. How cool is that! So much for jumping beans.

So what happens if the phone is in your pocket or in the case. We wouldn’t want the phone to drop out every time someone calls. Well as you would’ve guessed, you can turn the pop-up function off with a couple taps. Another great feature, is its ability to stand on its own. This makes watching movies, looking at pictures and doing whatever else you might want to do with upstanding phone.

The evolution of Smartphones in the last couple of years has gone from fast to speed of light tendencies. We just keep seeing new advancements in phones that really make us scratch our head. These are the types of inventions many of us thought about when we imagined what 2010 would look like. Things are finally coming together!
